Host Dustin Portela

Dustin Portela, DO, is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon. He is certified through the American Board of Dermatology, the largest national group of board certified dermatologists, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He completed his medical school at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA and his dermatology residency through Michigan State University where he served as the chief resident, also earning the Excellence in Dermatologic Surgery award.

He practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology at his private practice, Treasure Valley Dermatology, in Boise, ID. He is passionate about educating consumers through social media to improve the health of their skin and has 1.5M followers across the various social media outlets.

Host Kevin Kassover

Kevin has been with Topix for over two and a half years, previously as Vice President, Practice Development. Prior to Topix, he supervised the Aesthetics Department at California Skin Institute, California’s largest Dermatology group, where he grew their aesthetic service lines and sales. His responsibilities included overseeing their custom skincare, injectables, lasers/devices, cosmetic surgery, marketing and e-commerce. Previously he consulted with medspas, dermatologists and plastic surgeons on ways to improve their operations. Kevin has also managed individual practice locations and staff. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
